The Mumbles Development Trust is a community organisation registered at Companies House in October 1999 as a non-profit making limited company. It is a grass roots organisation concerned with regenerating Mumbles through community self help projects and schemes. Our current membership of 195 are volunteers who give their services free, being a mixture of individuals and those representing many local societies and community organisations.

Aims and Objectives 

Promote and support the regeneration of Mumbles in accordance with the wishes of the community.

Work in partnership with all community organisations concerned with improvements in the village.

Promote and actively support self-help community economic, cultural, and environmental schemes for Mumbles.

Work to establish a comprehensive development plan for Mumbles including transport, highways, parking as well as amenities and tourist developments in accordance with the wishes of the community of Mumbles.

Support youth projects and training schemes concerned with improving sports facilities and the environment of Mumbles.

Lobby and apply to local, regional and national organisations for financial support in pursuance of our aims.
